Wow. What a day. We had an awesome time. It rained all week, then started to clear at 5am that morning. Saturday 14th July 2012. Couldn't believe our eyes. On the Friday night we all went to dinner at the Eagle Heights Resort. Catching up with friends & relatives that had come some distances. It was lovely. Then home to make the bouquet & button holes & corsages. Couldn't have done it without the help of a very dear friend, Maxine. THANK YOU, for all your help. Finally into bed at 10.30pm. The Big Day arrived & found my wonderful & very close friend ( couldn't be without her ) Sadie, on my doorstep at 6.45am. Straight into all the prep that goes on for a wedding. As I got married at 11am, it was full steam ahead. Hair in hot rollers, I proceeded to do everyone's make-up. It was fun. I loved every minute of it. Unfortunately we forgot to take photos. Having way too much fun. My gorgeous son Sam & my pretend delightful son Mitchell, with the help of my pretend beautiful daughter Larissa, made us all breakfast of bacon & egg sandwiches. They were delicious. Finally we were all ready to go & my soon to be step-daughter was arriving to drive me to the Chapel. When the Chapel doors opened, with my son to walk me down the isle, I saw the most handsome man standing at the other end waiting for me. I couldn't take the smile off my face. There were tears through the ceremony, both myself & most of our friends & family. And a little moisture in the corner of my gorgeous husband-to-be's eye. They were tears of pure Joy & Happiness. On my part, I just couldn't believe how lucky I am. The Ceremony was beautiful. It was everything we wanted & hoped for. Thank you to our fabulous Celebrant, Christine Rose-Port. Couldn't have asked for better. Just Perfect. Our reception was also everything we had hoped it would be. Thank you to all our guests for making it so much fun. It was great to catch up with you. Also a big Thank you to all the staff at Cedar Creek Winery. Especially Kylie, you're wonderful. We enjoyed our day very, very much. And well the rest is history.

Wow, only 1 week to go til my own Wedding. Time sure does fly. I think I'm organised. The only thing I need is some transport to the Chapel. The transport I would have liked is booked & I'm just procastinating about an alternative. I'm actually quite happy to drive myself. But I think it may look a bit odd :) Oh well, I'll just keep looking. Have a great week :) x
